Darlene Price first discovered her creative spark in the art and science classrooms of Central High School, where expression became a source of healing and hope. A proud West End native, Central launched her academic journey through the Rhode Island College (Preparatory Enrollment Program), leading to graduate studies at the University of Rhode Island and paralegal certification from Roger Williams University.
Her career in public service spans federal, state, and city government, with roles in cartography, planning, and policy management. Darlene’s work in housing rehabilitation, homelessness, and lead hazard abatement has earned her deep respect across Rhode Island’s housing community.
As Treasurer of the Alumni Association, she blends institutional memory with fresh vision—welcoming recent graduates and lifelong supporters alike. Her message: Central pride isn’t measured in years, but in heart.
